Hi all,
So I've created a slight problem for myself. Plan was originally to keep my 17' XLT grey rims and tires for summer and grab some inexpensive winters to swap out...tried to look for same size so as not to worry about speedometer stuff and all that hubbub.
I ended up finding and buying...
Here's the ones from Findway.ca. Was hoping to just send the site photos but it's not really updated yet.
I'm kinda biased since I got them for free, but these are pretty sweet. They don't slide around and fit all the way to the edges. Price is competitive and the wife likes them so that's...
Looks so awesome...and finally we have something to differentiate our trucks with!
I got my lettering similar pricing at the time from Salt Fork Sundries. Emblems were done by Matt's Creations. Both amazing working with them and competitive pricing!
And just like that, I got an email stating the delivery is delayed (coming from China I think) so that's my sucky update. I'll provide more as it comes.
I'll actually have mine shortly. Mine were built/scanned by Findway, so I think within the week I'll have the photos and pricing so I'll update here. Been waiting about 2 months but just got the email it's being delivered sometime this week so yay! Oh and yes, it's for Hybrid.
Yeesh, approximating a 1.31 exchange, that comes out to well under $40 cad. I think Ill wait for availability or a better situation. Awesome option that Truck Lot for us Canadians but in this case shipping kills the deal.
Thanks again YOBY for the price confirmation!
The truck lot price is $50 + 2.50 tax + 21.68 shipping...is this ok for it as there's no reference for price at Amazon.com (unavailable). Shipping seems excessive, can anyone comment on the total price?
I did, literally 3 weeks! And it was fine, after installing and cut and fitted in, until it was sitting under the locked tonneau cover....the buildup I guess. We'll see how the baking soda works, been sitting there since the weekend.
Updated list I think is needed:
1. Dash cam - no idea on what's best or install
2. Tailgate strut - I have some 16' that didn't fit the Honda Fit hatch, don't think it'll fit here either so maybe Amazon.com once more
3. Cheaper than $40 Ford Shadow Black paint pen...got a rock scratch on the...
If it's drop in, doesn't that mean you can temporarily uninstall that side of the wall and drill and then replace back? If not, take some photos and let's see where you can drill into it "suggestedly" lol
Just put a wrap of gorilla or even hockey tape around the hitch step til it's a tight fit. You can do the hitch pin as well. Again, still jiggles when you step on it or try to shake it but it's tight while driving.
I don't think it's on the website, only instore. I think this is the code for it (Item #1202210) so call around and see if they have close to you. It's 3/4 thick so you might find a comparable item from Home Depot as well (without the circle things).
Costco 2x 3x4 rubber floor mat (the one with the circles at the bottom) and then Gorilla tape (extra wide) to go over the seam. Cost was I think $23 per mat, got it in Ajax maybe 3 weeks ago.
Bastards are not only heavy but smell sooooooo terrible straight from Costco. I left mine outside...
I thought I posted the photos in a Canadian thread but can't seem to find it...so here's the quick termination explanation (pics might not be in order)
1. grab 2x 1/2 inch L pieces from home depot
2. Find and remove the 2 black plugs in the left and right side of the bed walls near the back.
3...
My mav was the model for the 2022 hybrid floor trays both front and back. I got the hook up here actually in one of the Canadian threads, they were looking for hybrids in Markham. Part of the job is, you get the prototype trays for free (value $250 or so) when they're ready in about 2 months...
Mod hole...welcome! I fell in weeks ago, but just got my Mav last week!
Ok here's my list. Don't really have links atm but can help you get if you message me.
1. My fav: the beaver step. It's like a hitch step but shaped like a beaver tail, which is also shaped like a friggin heavy arrow...
