To my knowledge all Mavericks have 5 drive modes. You get normal, slippery, tow/haul, sport, and eco. When you add the FX4 package the sport and eco modes are replaced with the mud and sand modes.
It depends what you mean by fully capable. It would be great on trails or out in the sand. I’m sure it would do fine is some minor mud. But it wouldn’t do very good in deep mud or trails which require a lot of suspension travel. The most I would do with the hybrid is drive it down a bumpy road.
There’s a pretty huge difference between the two. I think the lighting is pretty sweet but I have no use for it. I miss the original ranger. That’s why I’m getting a Maverick. Plus a 230 mile range is kind of a deal killer. There would be a lot of charging stops on the way to the UP.
I ordered mine on 7/14. I didn’t add mine right away to the date list so I believe I’m around 900. It doesn’t get built upon the date which you ordered it. It depends upon what you ordered and what dealer you went through.
Oh yes. I know some people past the age of retirement who have nothing put away. The thought of that is kinda of scary. So I’m putting away a decent chunk because I never want to be in that position.
There’s a lot of people my age who are making some pretty poor choices and it’s unfortunate.
Part of me wishes I would’ve slowed down some. I’m married already and own a house. I’m happy where I am but I wish I would’ve taken it one step at a time. And I’m doing the same thing you did, going after the money. I operate 5 separate water treatment plants and I hardly ever have a moment to...
Not the maverick unfortunately. I haven’t even seen one in person yet. Who knows when I will get to. I just know it’s going to be pretty quiet. At idle you can hardly tell some newer cars are running.
I can only dream of those numbers. I have 4 vehicles right now. 3 of them get 14 mpg on a good day. My DD is a 2014 edge which averages 23 mpg when I’m not driving it like I’m at the Daytona 500.
One of my trucks is a rusty old Dodge Ram 2500 with over 230,000 miles on it. It has a 8.0l V10 with true duals. She’s not much to look at but I love the deafening roar it makes. My 1980 F100 has a stock 302 that sounds awesome too but it’s kind of a dog.
