Maybe because I'm old, but I never thought of a maverick as a horse.
maverick

noun
Southwestern U.S. an unbranded calf, cow, or steer, especially an unbranded calf that is separated from its mother.
I had an '22 AWD LXT, which I sold to get my '23 FWD hybrid. No regrets. Don't need the 4K tow, and living in Central Florida, no real need for the AWD. A couple of weeks ago, I had to haul some junk to the landfill. Muddy road climbing to the top, and a couple of times I wondered if I would...
It took me a couple of weeks to get used to it, but now, after over 2 years of driving with it, I like it. It feels awkward now when I drive my gf's car with a traditional floor shifter.
I hauled an old mattress to the dump today. There were times I was wishing I had my old Maverick with the AWD. Had to drive up a muddy road to the top of the landfill, and there were parts I was really concerned about making it. But, the FWD hybrid did just fine. It was definitely a confidence...
I have a hard tri-fold tonneau cover. I took two lengths of paracord, raised the cover up, tied a loop to one end of each cord, then ran each across the bed, and laid the cover back down. Put the mattress on top of the cover, and secured each length of cord. The mattress didn't budge, it was at...
I'm averaging 40.7 mpg, about 45/55 hwy/cty. My best was 48.7, all city. Worst was 32.4, of which more than 95% was interstate and into a headwind. Also a 23 XLT hybrid.
I never thought of a tailgate being stolen a thing. Until about 35 years ago when mine was stolen off my Nissan pickup. I like the locking tailgate and would like it even if I didn't have the hard tonneau I've got on my Maverick.
Am I misunderstanding you? You get more than 360 miles on a tank, filling at 1/4? It seems to me that you're filling with around 12 gallons, and that equates to 30 MPG.
Age, 72, 6'1", about 230 lbs. My longest one-day trip was about 750 miles. Any vehicle I've been in for that long, I start to feel it, and this was no different. But it wasn't that bad, just a long day. A typical one to two-hour trip is no problem. '23 XLT Hybrid. I really don't find it too bad...
And yet, this is in the description:
"This is not favorable to those who live in quiet neighborhoods and depart in the early hours or come home late at night, if you need to creep into your hunting spot, or you just don't want the added attention/annoyance."
Actually, I traded an AWD, 4k tow pkg for a FWD hybrid. Don't regret the trade at all. Although I liked the options, I live in Florida and don't really need AWD, don't have anything to tow, at least not enough to require 4k, so the hybrid is ideal for me.
