So the battery took a nosedive compared to normal low?
And only 7 days from your charge up on the 1st?
Until the SOC% is corrected by a regular Relearn, the DSM isn't likely to change even recharged.
Do you normally lock it up overnight?
I wouldn't do the Reset, since battery is older and...
That's why I asked if the received one shouldn't be used with that video.
I'm sure it came with instructions.
But even online - says connector by the button.
Engineering Mode is changing the DTE calibration setting.
That's all.
Therefore the avg MPG calculation too.
But not speedometer or tracked mileage.
OP - perhaps posting where you made the changes in Forscan would allow someone to notice you missed something.
Because it sounds like the 3 times...
Sounding like thru many posts - the 25/26MY changes the behavior.
Ford probably thought they were reducing troubleshooting calls - doesn't sound like it.
Not only can the HVAC system which was turned off on last drive turn itself back on (since now onscreen right!) during next startup - the AC...
Sounds like the fiasco I first had getting rubber mats from an ebay seller that listed all the truck models together, EB & Hybrid, in a nice chart saying mats compatible with all of them.
I didn't think that was possible after a little forum reading - but had already ordered them.
Nope - hump...
Oh no - the video even showed the wider version.
Hoping they just grabbed the wrong one to send you.
You had a rubberband also?
ETA - actually that video above seems like a different location than the description of the link you had before.
Cable connector at the button.
Is there another...
I thought it was interesting that the 25/26 had a very different maintenance schedule for the online manual I'll look at, compared to pre-25.
But then the 24MY online manual was made to match it last fall IIRC. I believe I looked at a 23MY and same changes.
Brake fluid change was one of those...
I'd be curious if they tested the strength of the coolant - that is called out in the manuals for the fairly regular checks, and would be a figure to include in the paperwork.
Because the tanks could look decent, but not really be the correct strength.
Kinda like the brake fluid could look...
The charger manual will state how serious of a process they do, if it requires that.
High amp/voltage could be a problem left in the vehicle if that's what they do - I don't recall the Genius stating it was required.
So maybe really smart and they are gentle when in vehicle - or they don't get...
So if 12.6 after charging, which means slightly inflated and actual was lower than that - your charger must have decided it didn't want to go higher.
Battery is already a problem to some level.
If you are connecting to battery directly - the truck BMS is out of the picture, so no limiting...
Unless there is a glitch that happens (seen it despite process of AC off, HVAC off, truck off) - the AC button does NOT light up as if it's pushed.
The AC is being enabled behind the scenes for humidity control - unless you have fan speed such that you'd feel it - you might never.
But the HVAC...
Just to be aware - your fob is always sending out signal that allows opening and driving the truck. Until fob has no movement for a minute or more and goes to sleep.
It's what allows for keyless entry.
ETA: good visual deterant solution.
If you really are in an area prone with thefts of all...
The online version used to have a VIN checkbox if you accessed it by entering VIN or model details.
They removed it.
Because it barely worked - sections clearly labeled as 2.0 EB or hybrid would be handled correctly - but options only available on EB trims were not.
They didn't start the whole...
Considering I do see some of the EV's with under back bumper versions of these - obviously with more science put into their size and location - I wonder how much these smaller ones would remove turbulence.
I'm guessing a company selling $20 solution ain't paying for wind tunnel tests.
I used that Teflon, or actually 3rd party brand (Slick 50?) PTFE additive on I think my 1st new car in the 90s.
Sure sounded like I could hear a difference in idle right afterwards.
And never had a problem with that engine - so that proves .... never mind.
I recall the warning on NOT putting it...
