I would recommend an acorn style lug nut. The stock XL lugs are open-ended (kind of ugly) and I don't feel they have enough thread surface to properly grab the stud. An M14 x 1.5 x 1.90" is what I used, but if you can find a 1.25" I think it would look better as it would suck in a little...

Just bolted my Escape 19's on. They'll go on my hybrid next week (which will be lowered).

I bolted my 19's on my temporary Maverick. I think the wheel/tire diameter will look good with my lowered hybrid when it gets here.

Just wanted to offer an update for the chart. I verified that RA24 is Las Vegas, NV. My '23 hybrid is sitting there now waiting to be unloaded for a 100 mile transport to my local dealer. Hope that helps.

Economically, 20's are a much better choice. The 19" tire selections are pretty sparse and priced much higher compared to 20's or 18's. I only chose the 19's because I have always loved the wheel design AND they fit. I honestly wish they were 20's but don't mind the added sidewall height... at...
