Wife's Hemi Charger and subsequent Hemi Challenger both had them. I know because every time I'd drive her car I had to slide the seat back before I got in, start the car, adjust the mirrors, recline the seat and slide the armrest back, LOL.
And every time I did I'd hear about it the next time...
I'd say it's possible to get an ST, but not with the current version of the 2.3 but maybe a hopped up (even bored stroked) version of the current 2.0. Highly unlikely a manual will happen. It'll be several years out though IF it happens.
SOMEONE PLEASE ASK A REP FOR A SCHEDULE! There are so many people on here getting to see a demo/trainer but all we hear about future events is possibly the next day.
Excellent and super helpful, thank you!
Did you happen to measure the depth of the bed? I carry totes with tools that will be under a hard tonneau, just wondering how tall of tote will fit.
I don't need anyone's approval, but my Maverick WILL be lowered and absolutely WON'T be useless. Why do people think that lowering something makes it useless, that it can't tow, that it can't go through a gutter.
You didn't see it in the reservation guide!? I had a tough time choosing between the Focus RS and the Mustang GT, but eventually paid for the the GT350 sound file. I think it was $99.
A little more info:
If you go to a wheel website (like tirerack or customoffset) you can input 2020 Ford Escape and you'll get a large selection of wheels that will fit. The Escape began using the 5x108 pattern in 2017. Are you an old school guy? That's a 5 on 4 1/4".
I've been searching and searching to no avail. The best I can come up with is to go to ford.com, go to the Maverick page and hit the "Get Updates" button. You'll put in your name, email and zip code, plus the vehicle(s) you're interested in. Unfortunately I don't know if they intend to notify...
It was public knowledge for the Chicago Auto Show as well as Barrett-Jackson, but now we're after the fact on both instances. My dealer says they won't see one until the first ordered one arrives.
I tend to think they have to be somewhat scheduled. Members here have posted first hand pics at events like air shows, not private showings. Maybe Ford has a list but is keeping it secret?
Fellas, I've been searching this site and everywhere I can think of to find a location where I can see a Maverick first hand. All I find are events that already happened, never anything listed for the future.
Can someone post a list or a link of where Mavericks will be for in person viewing...
