    IF..the car is preheated(done from an app. that heats the battery) then no time lag. Unheated...People that have EV's are don't know how to use the technology..that's on them.

    Even with the %25 tariff on Chinese cars, American Auto Mfgs. will not be able to compete with int influx that is coming from China. And deciding to slow down production of EV's here puts those companies ever further behind.

    The only time I had bad gas (not a joke) was years ago. The Ford V8 in the 1975 150 chugged to a stand still. Eventually, I found a mixture of gas and water on the butterfly intake...
