  2. 800+ miles per tank club!!!

Thanks GPSman...that makes sense. Not going to worry, but I do try to conserve. When in EV coach and when it says electric...I find myself pumping then letting off of the "go" pedal. I guess I have turned it into a challenge.

I am an idiot..still don't get it. Will go back and study the manual...thanks though.
  4. Ridiculous markup!!

I understand your frustration. It has not been a good rollout for the Maverick. Personally, I missed being able to order one, ( not looking for a truck when the order bank was open and I did not know about Mavericks then) What it comes down to is dealers (not ordered vehicles) can set the price...
  5. Going crazy over tonneau covers!

I have only been on the highway for a few short times, maybe 4 miles and at 55-60. No noise or flapping. I would call it a very limited test. Maybe someone else will chime in on that topic for you.
  6. 800+ miles per tank club!!!

Please bear (no claws) with me. First tank of gas, screen said I was at 581 miles and had one partial bar on the fuel gauge and next to it, it said 51 miles. I decided that was all good, but needed to fill up (short trip tomorrow) After the fill up, which took 12.79 gallons, the total mileage...
  7. These dealers need to be reigned in

Good for you. The difference is I never even knew about a Maverick truck until just a few months ago. Then I tried to get on, and you know the rest of the story. I can afford the one I got..even though the sealer-ship marked it up... a lot.

Installed the soft fold Tyger today, easy and quick. The folding joints are not perfect but still, not real bad. $239 and delivered in two days. Happy, and for a perfectionist, that is saying something.

  16. Rivian R1T Fender Bender Turns Into $42,000 Repair Bill

reading a bit further in that article>>However, Redditor and fellow Rivian R1T owner Earlgr3yh0t was also rear-ended a few months back, except their rear quarter panel had a basketball-sized dent just below the taillight. They took the R1T to a certified Rivian body shop who said the entire rear...

  18. 600 Miles Per Tank Hybrid Maverick club

At 587 miles on First tank with two bars on the gas gauge.
  19. Maverick Raptor Style Grille w/Color-Matched FORD Lettering

Does the OP have stock in Ford? Personally, the first thing I do is take the dealer name off my vehicles as soon as I get home, but if Ford Paid me, maybe.
  20. Maverick vs Rivian R1T side-by-side comparison look

TedTX...I think you are correct n consortiums being formed. In the meantime, Tesla is building a Lithium Lab in Texas for the 4585 battery, they call it the “Manufacturing R&D (Lithium Lab).” Still, China has probably the largest investment in new battery technology,Contemporary Amperex...
