  1. K&N Air Filter for Hybrid Maverick 2.5L now available! Part: 33-5122 K&N

I know, but it is still a BS filter to use on a Hybrid. Stock works fine. I don't think people are racing Hybrids, no need for Brembo on one either, just my humble opinion..

  4. Does Hybrid Eco Mode make much MPG difference?

I am not being snarky, but when we lived in Port Townsend, Wa. for a few years, everyone drove the speed limit...20 mph..unnerving at times and mostly gray haired people..like me. Way before the Maverick, but I am sure I would have matched your 54 mpg there. The city had a lot of cops for some...
  5. Does Hybrid Eco Mode make much MPG difference?

I am at just under 42 mpg and retired also. I have lots of time so I drive at posted or slightly above speeds. MPG in the Willamette Valley is good, but going up into the Cascades ( Mt.Bachelor, and Crater Lake area ) it drops , as one would think. It might even out after coming back down. Enjoy.
  6. Does Hybrid Eco Mode make much MPG difference?

Not doubting you at all, but I have tried slippery mode, and to my uneducated mind it feels like there is not a much regen going on when slowing down...maybe that's just me..
  7. Does Hybrid Eco Mode make much MPG difference?

    >>>>>>>>>>>"I have a Lariat Hybrid, and my truck is always in Eco Mode when I start up. My dealer must of set it up some way. I have used slippery to see if I could get better MPG, but unless I was going on a long trip on a highway, I never select another mode. I'm always around 42 mpg that's...

" easy on the accelerator "When I have traffic behind me it is almost impossible to keep within the blue box. I usually can build up some charge on the back streets, then Try to keep it in electric as much as I can. For me, even getting 42 mpg..I have to work at it. Maybe the Hybrid was...

  14. Newbie question: Are ALL dealers marking up current stock?

Oregon is not the place to buy a Maverick that is on the lot..a new on, or even used, from a dealer. I bought mine a few weeks ago and paid a LOT more than MSRP..8K over. I have seen dealers in my state asking and not backing down on 10K over MSRP. I is the wild west. P.S. I am 73 and waiting...
  15. Dissapointing MPG for Hybrid at 85MPH

The reason we bought a Tesla is because their charging system was started 9 years , maybe 10 years ago and the bugs have been worked out. Tesla has now installed Some CCS feed plugs at existing locations and opened it up to other Brand cars. Tesla supercharger system is one of the MAIN reasons...
  16. Dissapointing MPG for Hybrid at 85MPH

Not our experience at all in Oregon. Only one time and it was one out of 15 chargers and it was out for 1 day. We have owned a Model 3 for for 2 years and have traveled all over the state with absoultly no problems at Tesla charge stations. 51 new chargers just up and running on Interstate 5...

  18. Why Buy a Maverick?

Exactly. I my case, retired but still need a pickup for all kinds of things. Getting about 42 mpg in my Hybrid, don't need 4 wheel drive. It is a great all around vehicle and I am on par with being parsimonious...
  19. The Ford Maverick Is Magical

first fill up. 533 combo miles used 12.75 gallons= 41.8 mpg. Happy.
  20. Intentionally limiting production of Mavericks??

Could not agree more. The dealership in town has so many Broncos and F159, 250, etc. it is hard to find a place to park if you want to look at anything. No Mavericks, many of the sales force tried to direct me to a Ranger of F150 when I said I wanted a Maverick. Then they said they had no idea...
