This makes me glad I didn't go with Sheehy. I considered ordering mine through one of the big dealers like Koons or Sheehy in NoVA thinking my fulfillment odds would be better. Glad I went with a smaller one; they've been treating me well. No markups, and the inventory guy is great to work...
Ford...work with me here. I had a Bronco order on the books for 2 years that never got built...please throw a unicorn my way! haha.
Good luck to everybody!
Interest paid over the life of a car loan is so tiny compared to what you'd pay to a bank over the term of a mortgage. To me it's a miniscule consideration.
Yeah, I emailed my contact at the dealer (dEaLeR sAiD) to see if he has any insight. I've honestly been considering adding the Lux package back on since it doesn't seem to be constrained (I dropped it a month ago). Just not sure.
Haha, of course the ONE option on my XLT Hybrid order (you know, other than the whole hybrid thing), is the hitch. Now I get to wrestle with whether or not to drop that.
I'm having trouble wrapping my head around why this doesn't make the Lux package a constraint now, though.
If the Bronco scheduling is any example to follow, they do scheduling every fourth Thursday. So since the first round of MY23 scheduling was on 10/20/22, I'd expect the next round to be on 11/17/22.
I'm thinking an Accord Hybrid because they're not crazily marked up and are relatively easy to find in my area. My '06 FEH is my main daily driver, and I'm not sure how much longer the ailing HV battery in it will last.
Hah, I was in this boat a few months ago.
Me: "I really want to get a Legion 5 pro."
Her: "A what what?"
Me: "A new laptop, I have the money set aside from selling my cousin the other gaming computer."
Her: "Oh ok, go for it."
Same sort of conversation happened for the Maverick. Sold my...
First gen escape hybrids are like this too. The AC compressor is the only belt driven accessory on the engine. You can put it on max AC for summer and it’ll keep the ICE on, but it kind of defeats the purpose.
So I did perform the forscan rebalance procedure 3 times in a row last weekend and it didn’t make much of a difference unfortunately. My last ditch effort is going to be installing a charge cable on the HV battery and taking it up to true 100% SOC and then bleeding it down. If that doesn’t...
2006 Escape Hybrid with 132k is still kicking, but the HV battery is definitely tired (it doesn't hold charge if it sits undriven for more than ~2 days). Only repair I've done is replacing the battery fans. I can't fault it though; it's a 16 year old NiMH pack.
Every 4th Thursday, typically. They usually do one big batch a month and scatter some smaller numbers throughout the month. It got bumped a day this go-round.
LOTS of Lariats getting scheduled today. Pretty surprising.
Congrats to all who got scheduled!
