FWIW, MY 2006 F-150 4x4 receiver hitch is almost an inch lower to the ground than the one on my XL Maverick AWD. I'd just wait until you get the Maverick before you buy anything.

I have them shut off on my XL. It's in the settings.

Mine came with front carpeted mats as well. I just replaced them with the Ford molded mats using up most of my Ford pass points.

No. Dealer had it on the contract and talked me into getting it, even tho I didn't really want it. $3300.00. I have since cancelled it and they sent a check to the bank, which reduced my loan balance by that much. Not worth it to me. The plan wasn't through Ford either.

I replaced my Continental tires with Wildpeaks. Definite improvement. Have had on my wife's F150 for awhile now, so had experience with them.
