This may work if you never needed airspace behind a sub. Two 10's [edit: one 10" and a passive radiator] in a sealed box with 0.6 cubic feet of airspace will sound disappointing at best.

Dang, I'm a little late to tell you but an open flame (very lightly, of course) helps pull the solvents out of the plastic before painting.
