Oh man, swapping speakers is a CINCH! I have the step-by-step instructions from Crutchfield I'd be happy to send to you. A 8mm socket on a ratchet and some inexpensive pry tools and you're set! You can do this!
Hell, you're only 4 hours south of me. Come up and I'll teach you how, or just do it...
Finally finished my stereo install. I reused the amp, sub and box from my previous Maverick as well as Infinity Reference speakers.
My take: the Infinity center channel and door speakers were WELL worth the upgrade. The C pillars speakers weren't worth the cost or the effort. The factory B&O...
I did a writeup on it. Roughly 3" front and 4 1/4" rear were my results.

Got a little more done today. I took a scrap of 1/16" aluminum sheet and built a panel to mount my amp to. It was too thick for my bead roller and my sheet metal brake so I crudely tipped the edges using my vice and a body hammer. It'll work. A quick Rustoleum coat of "whatever is dark" to hide...
Having been a car audio nut for 35+ years I was planning on being underwhelmed. I wasn't wrong. The B&O is just SLIGHTLY better than the base system and certainly not worth the associated cost.
The rear speakers seem to get very little power, so even when upgrading the rear speakers it's not...
Pics I've taken over the last few days. If you don't turn around and look back at your truck when you park it, do you even enjoy driving it?
Sorry for the pic overload, just be glad I'm not posting pics of my grandkids, LOL.
Hater-Ade is my go-go juice. I've listened to people hate on what I do for years, only to try to copy me weeks later. Funny thing, I'm more than happy to help them avoid my mistakes and do it right.
Glad I could help, brother!
I'm going to do writeup on the main board specifically about rerouting the harness if going lower than Eibachs. It will help exactly two people and piss off 200.
It's EXTREMELY easy. One 10mm socket on a rachet and two medium-sized standard screwdrivers.
Yes, my truck is low. I'm not changing...
If interested, here's my thread on Eibach's - https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/eibach-pro-lowering-coils-how-low-can-you-go-my-measurements.27893/
I'll throw my previous Maverick in before some lady turned left in front of me and totalled it. It was on Eibach coils and 19" Ford Escape wheels I powder coated. Tire size 235/55R19. No cutting, no rubbing, no noise, excellent ride.
See my signature for the build of this truck and my new...
Yeah, I'm really loving the color. It wasn't my first choice but I like it more every day.
It was for more orange than I expected, I thought it would be more wine colored. The way it changes in various lighting is really cool.
Yeah, for sure. I'm going to work on rerouting the harness today, not sure how that will turn out just yet. Solder and heat shrink seem to be the order of the day.
Learning lessons all the time, and this one is a bit embarassing.
A few nights ago I met a friend at my son's house. We left my Maverick there while we went hunting, and on return my Maverick would start but had a transmission/ shift error...
Big WTF moment, but at 5 AM I certainly wasn't...
