Ordered 22, rolled into 23 and 24. Dealer says no problem with allocations.
This is ridiculous. If there was another brand with the same type of vehicle I would never both with Ford.
Good for you.
And as far as selling the ordered Mav, go for it.
Get what you can but sell it as soon as you can.
The problem is Ford's not yours.
Just remember something though.
The laws of economics will arrive at some point.
Think.
There are a bunch of fleet vehicles, probably leased, and...
Nothing, ZIP, nada, zero.
Ordered a XLT in 22, that got rolled into 23 (and Ford didn't prioritize the leftover 22's in 23) and then that order got rolled into 24. Hopefully the rumor the Ford will prioritize the 23 rollover orders this year is true, unlike 22 rollovers that went into 23.
The...

The reason I didn't buy the 22 XL at the time was cruise control.
I still wonder if I had just bit the bullet on cruise control, I might have a truck today.
OK, I was doing a real good job of keeping my temper under control (and believe me when I type this, the temper very rarely goes, but when it does look out) until I started seeing the emails here.
Ordered in 22, rolled into 23, and now I'm seeing 24's with the same order date as mine.
And no...
I'm on the same ride with you.
Ordered 22, rolled into 23, and then 24.
And now a strike.
Ordered so long-ago Ford discontinued my original color choice (Area 51).
If a Maverick customer orders a Maverick, and then for any reason (including the customer got another Maverick from another order) decides they don't want the second Maverick for themselves, can the dealer deny the customer's desire to purchase the second Maverick? And can the dealer install a...
As I have sadly learned, allocations are king.
The dealer told me that there were plenty.
Apparently, a car dealer lied to a customer.
Shocking, I say.
Shocking.
I was thinking the 23 wasn't going to happen.
In a way that's a bit of a relief.
Maybe the QC is getting better as production continues, and there might be some added goodies in 24 that aren't in 23.
Still, sucks that it takes this long to get a truck.
Ordered in 22.
Got rolled into 23.
And then got rolled into 24.
Here's the dilemma.
Do I want to get one of the last 23's?
Or wait a few more months to get one of the early 24's?
Especially when the Maverick will become the "southern" vehicle, so we can fly back and forth.
