Battery sleep mode. Your passenger door won't open automatically. Your interior lights don't stay on, and your app won't work except to tell you it's in sleep mode. Frustrating and too common, grrrrr.
Why would you pump the pedal?
The hybrid engine will start and stop by itself. When that happens depends on your drive mode, your driving style, and if your asking for cabin heat. Just let it do it's thing.
I have the Ford hard roll up cover and no bed rail warpage. I installed it myself and used a torque wrench. Sometimes it's better to install things yourself.
I recently drove to Los Angeles. I went 310 miles and 99 percent was freeway at 65ish. I have a bed cover and I don't know if that helps. I got 40.2 mpg.
Your truck is going into sleep mode to preserve battery power. It's a common problem. It happens to me every day. Some say that Ford is working on a fix, but I will believe it when I see it.
