Glad you and the family are safe. Thank you for sharing your story. Sorry you are getting beat down when you're down already. People act like they know how to handle a situation they've never been in.
Honestly, truck would have probably caught on fire either way when you first stopped at the...
Wind noise at what speed? Highway speeds over 65 mph? Wind noise is a bit loud at highway speeds at 70+ mph, around the windshield near the sideview mirrors. But if it's that loud that callers can hear the wind noise, you should record a video of it and see if the mic picks up the noise and post...
You change your own or got it done at a shop? Oil looks to be coming from higher up? Check oil filter and see if theres any signs of leaks there. But yeah, wipe off clean and check after 1k miles.
If you're in SoCal, contact a Lemon Lawyer and see what your options are and see what is best for you. Over 5 months is WAAAY too long for any repair..
You can try connecting the Infotainment System to WiFi and turn on Automatic Updates. My screen used to be dim but once I connected the system to wifi, it one day just fixed itself. No idea if it did an automatic update but screen is not dim anymore.

As mentioned above, check your axles. Check around the wheel well and suspension for any "yellow" grease.
Where are you located? Try taking it to a different dealer for an earlier appointment?
Hey that's my truck! Really love my WellVisors. Not a lot of people are a fan of them though. Something about not being "low profile" enough and that they bulge out. I like how they go up to the edge of the door frame and run the full length of the frame so it looks like part of the truck.
"Default Spring Rates: Front 9k Rear 7k-S for FWD Maverick." Did you go with that spring rate or a custom one? And you went with Swift Spring upgrade all around? (Not sure they even have Swift springs that would fit the rears but I assume the Swift upgrade is only for the front?)
What was the...
I wonder if the spring rate of 5k front/rear is too soft or just enough. Tempted to try these out. I contacted customer service and they said 1" minimum drop to a maximum of 2" drop. Definitely not for the Low Boiz..
Follow the instructions for the Mabett Bronco seat covers. It's pretty much the same step by step for the front only. The rears should be no problem for the Maverick:
I had the opportunity to park near an actual factory BAP Area 51 Hybrid yesterday and compared the two taillights in person. Didn't get pictures as I didn't want to bother the owner by telling him it's because of an internet debate I'm having on a forum for interwebz points. Sounded fine in my...
Once you remove the chrome, it's like a "black chrome" surface underneath it. It still reflects light but not as well as actual chrome itself but you probably won't notice the difference unless you put them side by side.
The LED headlights uses the chrome surface of the reflector to reflect...
This is another member's video. It's also somewhere in the link posted above. I copied his mod and did it on my Maverick as well but I don't have a video. These are the LEDs used:
Oznium LED Module (Straight black, Amber LED)
Might be able to wire them to stay on AND blink but I think instead...
Lasfit LED taillight bulbs with Zep BAP taillights. Still plenty bright at night? Any brighter they'll blind the people behind me and then they'll definitely rear end me :ROFLMAO:
