I agree with you but if the car is a mile away behind me or ahead of me or if there's nobody else on the road but you, then not signaling is acceptable to me.
Anyone that had a dealer installed hard trifold tonneau, please check. I would like to compare.
The rails in my opinion were cut about half inch too short on both sides so it's not as water tight as it should be. There's a big gap. I would like to bring it back and complain about it.
Awesome review and I agree with you. My Maverick is my first hybrid as well and like you guys, ordered it sight unseen. No problems so far EXCEPT, my dealer installed hard trifold tonneau cover is not completely water right. Lane keeping takes some getting used to. It forces you to signal...
Some of us are not as young anymore and joints in the shoulder and elbow ain't what it used to be. It's not the speed that's a plus. It's the amount of effort or lack there of when you've got aches and pains.
But hey, to each his own.
IF I need to haul anything that would require it to be tied down, it's a 5 min job to screw the tie down back on temporarily.
Having the tail gate assist on is a big plus when I have to open my tail gate 4-5 times EVERYDAY.
You know all this story about build delays because of SIBL, I'm surprised your sales rep did not recommend that you get it done at the dealer. That's what my sales rep did when I placed my order in August. That and the hard trifold tonneau cover. I'm glad I listened to him.
I didn't get it when I picked up my Maverick. Finance guy told me that if I decide to get it down the road to majestic sure it's FORD PROTECT. What's the difference between this and the ESP?
