Firstly I’m not ever going back to this dealer as am moving away from this city and planning on selling this truck in a couple of months. So they can expect an honest google review with pics from me.
I was told the only software update that could be done by mobile service is the body module control. Everything else needs to be brought to the dealership to do, instrument cluster, turn signal, under the hood. Anyone else got theirs done by mobile service with all the recalls?
Got my truck back today and checking my dash cam. I wonder is it standard for them to take the customer’s truck home ? It seems like 1 hour of gap that the dash cam isn’t recording which means the truck wasn’t moving. This is consistent with what I saw in the ford app. I will raise this issue...
Well, they found nothing that could be duplicated. Four days of sitting at the dealer and nothing to show for. I asked for recalls for software update to be done but they weren't done. They wanted to keep the Maverick for another 2 days to do those recalls. What a waste of my time.
I connected my red wire to the passenger side marker bulb so that it would stay on whenever the parking light or lower beam light is on. Access to the side marker bulb on the passenger side is much easier than the driver side.

I didn't think so either but I brought it in for them to check it out anyway. Just to document the incident in case I need to sue later. It sucks to not have the truck for a few days while they 'investigate' knowing the outcome will be the same. Nothing major but updating the software.
If soap and water can be used to clean eye glasses I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt the screen that is being touch by my dirty finger everyday . I use a mixture of dawn and water. In a small amount. So far so good. 2 years and counting.
