When I think of all of those decades downshifting my sports cars, pickups, and bikes, without displaying brake lights, before finally braking to come to a stop.
Boy, was I lucky!
Nose against the (vertical) glass………..
I’ll take one of those……..
and two of those……..
and one of these here…..
and three of these…….
How much is that?
Seven?
Ok…….two more of those, and one of these.
Here’s my dime!
Both Dave and Chris are correct.
One thing to consider…….
Touching the door handle will lock the truck, but will NOT arm the alarm.
Double clicking the fob will.
As will touching the bottom two keys of the externally mounted keypad.
Mike,
The rear-view mirror has 2 pivot points. Lift the first joint (nearer the windshield) up all the way. Then adjust the second to your liking.
You’ll gain at least a full inch.
527 miles is nowhere near enough to make average mpg judgement.
Give it another 1000 miles, and 2 months, and you’ll be quite pleasantly surprised with what you‘ll be getting.
Good looking truck, by the way.
On the other hand, you could do what I did. Make the button easier to find.
I glued a button on. Made of wood, it took the glue easily, and the color matches the Lariat interior.
Along the line of this thread, there are really only 2 things to remember:
1) Stop using the term “auto start/stop” in regard to our hybrids. It is strictly an EB term in our Mavericks.
2) The ICE will run when the batteries require a charge, regardless of how they have been drawn down...
Signaling a lane change does not grant one permission to do so. If another vehicle is so close that signaling is required just to do so safely, then perhaps the move could be intrinsically unsafe.
But……if there is plenty of room to move over safely, then three blinks should suffice.
Trouble for sure!
Put yourself in his position.
He REALLY wants this trouble to go away. Push him hard for recompense, including, AT A MINIMUM, a loaner until your truck is in your possession.
You REALLY have the upper hand here. Every day that goes by without you having an accident is a gift...
