One thing to keep in mindā¦ā¦..
100% of every foot you travel in a hybrid is provided by gasoline. Hills donāt help. They hinder. What you lose climbing UP the hill, you do not get back coasting back down, and vice-versa.
So drive it, ALL THE TIME, as you would a gasoline car.

I wouldnāt buy anything to fix it.
THATāS THE JOB OF THE SHOP WHO āFIXEDā IT!
Bring it back to them. Be politely angry.
This is not a difficult job for professionals.
You should not have to waste your time and money on their screw-up!

OK. We can leave tire wear to another thread.
But, you started this thread about MPGās.
Higher pressure leads to less rolling resistance, which leads to better MPGās.
To each his own.
Driven in a straight line, with higher pressure, the center will wear considerably more than the outer edges.
āSpiritedā driving on the twisties evens it out.
Over time, this will result in higher MPGās, longer lasting tires, and better handling.
Pretend youāre riding a bike. Go around the...
In this whole thread, never read a word about tire pressure.

Try marking (just a scratch will do it) the oil filter. Pulling the filter will spill some oil. So they may as well do the oil change too.
Without oil analysis, and unless the oil is very dirty, really no way to test if itās been changed.
Because all of the auxiliary gizmos (radio, lights, gauges, etc) operate on 12v.
The 12v battery basically acts as a voltage regulator.
Besides, who wants high voltage wires running behind his dashboard?
