I am sure Granger could arrange something. The production lead times are the issue. I ordered mine in December and without knowing when my truck would be produced. I received my Maverick on January 7. Thus, it worked out well.
I placed a configuration preorder and paid a $200 deposit on 2022/12/28.
Configuration: ARE MX Shell; Black OTR (Line-X exterior instead of paint); front tilt down picture window; dark headliner; roof tracks only; no interior light; 2 lock rear door; side sliding windows (opening window/doors...
If anyone is watching this thread, I found out today that my MX-series is in production with an anticipated ship date of April 4. It will take about 2-weeks for it to arrive in southern California from Ohio.
I, originally, ordered and received a 2022 XL Hybrid. I didn't care for the CVT and a test drive of a friend's EB (2WD) convinced me to place an order for a 2023 EB XLT. I decided to go with the AWD to get the 4K Tow package as well as the independent rear suspension.
I sold the XL Hybrid to a...
Same here... I am in Orange County if you want to come down and drive a 2023 XLT EB AWD. I also let several people drive my 2022 XL Hybrid before selling it when I ordered the EB AWD.
I ordered the EB AWD 09/16/22 and received in 01/07/23. I am happier with the EB AWD than I was with the XL...
Great pictures for seeing what the texture looks like. I agree with your opinions and observations. Thank you, sincerely, for sharing these additional pictures. I am glad I ordered the OTR and cannot wait to get my MX-series installed. It might look strange to have a black OTR shell on a Black...
Thank you for the honest opinion of the OTR. I am aware of the drawbacks since I have had Line-X spray-in bedliners for years. My 2023 has a Line-X premium spray-in bedliner. Based on what you are saying, I am going to stay with the OTR shell finish.
Thank you, again, for sharing your pictures...
I cannot tell from the pictures. Yet, it looks like you went with the OTR option. If so, then what do you think about the quality? And, it's not easy to tell from the pictures. Yet, the OTR surface seems to really go well with the plastic bed pieces.
I would be interested in your honest opinion...
Thank you for remembering to post the picture.
Anyone else find the configuration a little bit odd? I would think someone would want the window on the passenger side to help with blind spot visibility. Yet, having the tool box on the curb side might make sense.
I wish we had more pictures of...
Interesting observation about the installation. I found that the plastic molding was very tight up against the metal and felt. This is part of the reason why I decided to remove the PPF. I felt the risk of rubbing the paint was minimal due to the tight fit.
I went with the premium Line-X in my Maverick. I will have an A.R.E. MX-series shell put on as soon as A.R.E. begins manufacturing them. I went with the OTR on the shell. Yet, I am tempted to have A.R.E. paint it and have the Line-X folks put the coating on instead of A.R.E.
I bought the Wet Okole seat covers above directly from the factory in Costa Mesa CA. They installed them for free. They were ready about 5 business days after I ordered them and was able to get an appointment for installation 2 days later.
Note that I ordered the seat warmers for both front...
It's a little bit dirty due to all of the rain.
Here are some pictures of the Wet Okole seat covers I had installed on Friday.
I also added Weathertech mud flaps and floor protection. I had also had Line-X install a premium spray in bed liner.
Hope these are what you are looking for.
I had the same dilemma. I could not decide between the hybrid and EB. I went ahead and stayed with the hybrid. I ordered the 2022 XL Hybrid on 09/16/2021 and received it 08/13/2022. I put 980 miles on it before I sold it to someone from the forum. They made an offer to another hybrid for sale in...
