Landmark Ford in Tigard treated me fairly.
They placed my order correctly, only took a $500 refundable deposit, and honored X plan pricing. At signing, there was no pressure to add a maintenance contract or extended warranty. They asked once, I said no, and that was the end of that discussion...
Dumping gravel in there from the garden store. Probably would have been fine without it, but just trying to baby my new purchase.
Also gave me an excuse to get outside and work on a quick little project.
I haven't found a bed mat that I like enough to buy, so I jerry-rigged this out of a set of cheap Harbor Freight foam tiles (HF 4 piece foam mat set).
I have no illusions of it lasting long term, but it worked for me in a pinch yesterday.
SW Washington (Vancouver) checking in.
After one week of ownership, I'm impressed with my Maverick. Also relieved that the Lariat interior is much more subtle in person than in pics. Now to do something about those Lariat wheels...
Wanted to give a shout out to Landmark Ford in Tigard, OR...
What I ordered: Hybrid Lariat Lux with sunroof in Carbonized Gray.
What I wish I ordered: Different wheels (I think the Lariat wheels are some of the ugliest offered), and a less drab color, like Cactus Gray, Velocity Blue or Iconic Silver.
Interesting that we're seeing build weeks for both 4/11 and 4/25 in todays round of emails.
According to the last scheduling chart (below), it's only supposed to be 4/25 builds this week.
Congrats to all the summertime orders getting a scheduling email today. It's about damn time, and y'all deserve it!
As for me, I decided 2 weeks ago, that if I didn't receive a scheduling email by today (which I didn't), I would start seriously looking at other options.
I don't want anything...
