THose 6lug Bronco wheels have a 5lug Bronco Sport equivalent... I know.. becuase I have them on my truck.. 18" Bronco Sport wheels with 245\60 R18 Scorpion AS tires.
(same truck, I eventually painted the mirror caps hot pepper red instead of the BAP gloss black, when doing repair from a hit and...
Constantly, all of the time.
We don't have children, but our involvement in our community and church has us shuttling around folks on errands. We also like to have friends join us when we make trips to the nearby bigger cities. Riding together with friends when we go to dinner, instead of just...
To date, I've jumped at least 4 different vehicles with the NOCO 40 portable jumper that I bought with my Ford points. Two of those vehicles were parked in such a fashion that it would have been nearly impossible to reach with my truck and traditional jumper cables. The NOCO is really a nice...
Well, unfortunately they don't have Tim Bartz, available 1 on 1, to answer every obscure Maverick question not found in the 558 pages of the Owners Manual (MY2024).
Four years of serious discussion have probably made many of the stalwarts here on MTC the closest thing that Ford has to Maverick...
I was a critic of the heavy use of Navy Pier (and the whites/lightlblues) of the XLT and Lariat interiors when ordering my Maverick. I ended up getting the Black Appearance Package, tint on all windows, and added a charcoal gray dash mat to diminish the blue and eliminate the...
I have SIBL and a bedrug (bed and tailgate only, not sides). mainly for mexico when we used two stadium seats to sit people back there in comfort on back country trips (boosting the Maverick seating capacity to 7)
What would everyone argue about on MTC if that happened?
Back in the day, there were development efforts to convert that engine for aviation use in ultralight / sport aircraft. Power to weight ratio was good. Even the Suzuki 1.3L 4 cyl saw similar development / coversion efforts.
I feel your pain. I'm not 'old' by any stretch, but in my late 50s and I can attest that cognitive and motor skills decline are a reality. It's humbling. The struggle is real. I know that I'm not as aware, sharp and quick reacting as I was as a younger man. I can take comfort in that knowledge...
I'm not a fan of the 1.5T. My sister has an older Escape with it, and the vibration at idling is normal. She's in a cold climate, so it doesn't do alot of autostops at stoplights becuase of the need for heat.
However, I rented a MY2025 Ford Escape 1.5T a few months ago in Georgia for 4 days, in...
So you just have a bunch of confirmation biases becuase you and others got lucky... LOL Maybe keep your criticisms to yourself so as to not recommend dangerous habits to others.
We get massive expansion gaps/strips straight accross (perpendicular) on our roads and highways due to the extreme heat 6 months of the yearin the Sonoran Desert. it would be a punishing ride in one of those vehicles. Some days, I go out of the house to run a small errand... and I say... you...
My Maverick is 2 years old in January. It will also have 30k miles in January. I'm m probably going to wait for 45k miles to do ptu, rdu, and trans. My Maverick is not worked hard. Opinions?
MY2025... the lower final drive ration of the 4KTow package was adopted for all EB, whether it had 4K Tow or not. So, that's not an issue.
It's unfortunate you didn't get 4K Tow, but if you bought it off of the dealer's lot, well you got what they had in stock... but if you ordered it... man...
