Supposedly Tarrifs go into effect tonight at midnight (March 4th)...
As of today, MXN to USD hasn't moved (nor has it since June). People with the money know... But hey... let's have yet another thread on the topic... :ontheloo:
well, if the full 25% happens in Mexico, I'm sure 10k people...

my truck is not a hybrid... I just chimed in as I was surprised by the highway fuel economy documented by Cal. I do decent on highways.. horrible in my mountain pueblo...
I appreciate your honesty... I've had a few other threads where I was documenting some trips. Now, I will admit... I always use ECO and I do drive, well, mildly... and of course I'm generally driving with temperatures ranging from 60degF to 90degF (well 110+ in the summer, but we're not...
Seriously Cal? Wow. I've logged several consecutive trips in the last few weeks with my MY24 Lariat EB AWD 4KTow w/ larger 245/60 R18 tires in Mexico where I'm getting 31 mpgs at 72mph. Odd, becuase I'd struggled staying above 29mpg for a few consecutive trips before that.
UPDATED: I can...
Long drive (5 hours each way) to a penitentiary in the middle of nowhere east of Hermosillo (where Mavericks are born). Went to vist a wayward young man that my wife and I mentored along with his sister years ago. Draw of the Cartel is strong in isolated communities, with often tragic...
Wow. what a fun color that one was.. I guess on an overcast day, it looks more Orange then Yellow. I see one in my town in Arizona, but it's always so sunny here that one looks school bus yellow for sure. Your's looks nice.. Sunroof! :)
Just did a mix of interstate, city, and country driving today, 450 miles, all in Mexico, averaged 31 mpg.
High Security Mexican Prison way out in the middle of nowhere.
In the USA, at 72-75mph , on long highway trips, in ECO mode, I generally average 32-33mpg (did over 36 mpg for 200mile trip once).. In Mass, you'd probably drive a bit slower, so mileage would be favorable.. Mexico, same trips are about 29-31mpg.. more stops, speed bumps, rougher road ...
When you rebuild the transmission... You know like in old mid century modern homes where you discarded the razon blades in a slot in the back wall of the medicine cabinet... only to retrieve them when you remodeled the bathroom 30 years later...
I've given allot of thought to my response....
Well, no Lariats are being held back, so the MY2024 held vehicles are all XLs and XLTs, so MY2024XL and XLTS are already priced much lower than their equivalent MY2025 (XL/XLTs have seen higher price increases relative to Lariats this model year)....
Sounds like somebody with a MY2025 who lives close by in Missouri (that's where they are located I believe) needs to step up... We were fortunate that 2022-2024 XL, XLT, Hybrid non-Tremor, non-FX4 maintained the same bezel shape... Appears to be the same for MY2025 across the 3 trims. again...
