How much time out of your life does it take to remove the cover?
If you're going to do your own oil change to ensure it's done correctly then a few extra minutes shouldn't matter much.
FX4 gets mono-tube shocks vs twin-tube shocks on the standard AWD.

They didn't try too hard to sell me on it so I didn't even get the chance to tell them that unplugging and tossing the add on tracker would be even easier to do.
They never installed it. It was sitting on the sales ladies desk so I didn't have to have them remove it.
When I was in the finance office writing the check and signing paperwork they tried to sell me a tracker. I said I didn't need it because the Maverick comes with location via FordPass app. Then they claimed the bad guys can easily disable that feature. Nope.
The finance guy told my saleslady to...
I'm in Sacramento and rust isn't the main issue with OEM Ford lug nuts here. When I worked parts at a Ford dealer I would get requests for new lug nuts all of the time. After awhile they come apart from being pounded with impact guns.

Ford.com is only for Sync updates. If you can't update via WiFi as shown in the video linked in the first post of this thread you'll have to go to the dealer.
I could see the new update and was able to download it via WiFi but it would never install for me. I had the dealer install the update...
Are you checking for Sync3? I'm not aware of a way to check a regular Maverick infotainment system for an update on Ford.com.
I had to check by connecting my Maverick to WiFi and checking via the touchscreen.
I'm a retired Ford parts guy. You could also try to do it over the phone but there's more risk of miscommunication.
The Ford parts catalog for newer vehicles have good illustrations.
If your trying to find interior trim pieces for a 2001 E250 it sucks. LOL
Good luck.
I would stop by your Ford dealer. Bring your Vin# and tell the parts counter person where the missing cover goes. They can show you the parts illustration. You can then pick out the correct part so you get the correct one.
