I was surprised to see all of the blue window stickers. FLF even has a couple of XL hybrids. The rest looked like plain XLT FWD EcoBoost's with a full size spare, hitch and nothing else.
They do have one well equipped XLT LUX FX4 4K Co360 in transit.
I guess they had more allocations than...
I'm pretty sure that the ones at my dealer are really there because they have photos of them.
They take the photos right next to the back door to the parts department. When I worked there I used to see them taking the photos for the website all the time.
Correct. That's why I went to my dealers website and checked their inventory.
They showed eight new Mavericks in stock, all with blue window stickers, and nine more with blue window stickers in transit.
Thanks for the link. Looks like my dealer, Folsom Lake Ford, has several stock units on the lot. Blue window stickers on all of them.
I went to their website and they have even more stock units on the way. Looks like some people will be able to go to the dealer and drive away with a Maverick...
Looks like Tremor and 4K get 3.81 axle ration. Standard EcoBoost, FWD and AWD, get a 3.63 ratio.

I want to point out that the quotes I posted from the Maverick towing guide only mentions a reduced amount of performance from higher altitude and frontal area resistance.
It doesn't say you have to abide by this or you transmission will blow up if you exceed the suggested limits.
Another thing to consider when towing is the air resistance from the size of the frontal area of the trailer. A larger frontal area makes your Maverick work harder to maintain the same speed.
So towing a trailer that folds down like a tent or pop up unit will not be the same as a standard...
The government is pushing for utilities to go to solar and wind. No solar and little to no wind at night to charge EV's.
For that to work on a large scale there will have to be a massive investment in storage so people can charge their EV's at night.
How much will that cost and who's going to...
I asked myself the same question last year. I wanted an FX4 because I drive on a rough 3 mile unimproved dirt road to my family's ranch property.
I decided that the extra $745 for 4k was a bargain. I may tow a small camper in the future and it would impractical and expensive to try and upgrade...
When the Maverick was introduced in 2021 the XL base price was $19,995.
The XL base price today is $23,400. Looks like inflation is a big part of the increase.
The OP should have known something was up when the dealer told him they had to deal with a "title issue" before they could sell it to him.
Salvage title?
