I happened to stop by Autonation Ford of Tustin this morning to see if a used Super Duty they have on the lot (that I love) is still there (which it was).
They have a new 2024 Maverick Tremor marked up $7K. Every new vehicle has over $2K in required dealer-added services plus the Tremor...
What engine and drivetrain configuration? Hybrid? Ecoboost? Ecoboost with AWD? I am assuming hybrid by the fact that it is setup for towing.
What factory options?
A picture of the window sticker would answer these and other questions.
Do you have a picture of the tow bar installed?
@Hipshot hit all of my recommendations as well.
I also added South Bay to the MTC dealership tracking sheet. They earned the first red highlighted "Warning" label on the list.
Looking at my Ford dealership recommendations/warnings list, you will see that California leads all states with the...
Spot on! I had difficulty deciding if I wanted the 4K Tow versus the benefit of the Tremor. I went with the 4K Tow and BAP on my XLT instead of the Tremor.
I am also with those who are not fans of the orange accents nor the standard XLT and Lariat interiors. Thus, the Tremor's interior appeals...
@Emccusker
At 59, I still value high-fidelity sound in my vehicles.
The B&O system in my wife's PHEV Escape is good enough for her vehicle. I haven't heard the Maverick's B&O system. Thus, I don't know if I would be happy with it or not.
I have an XLT Maverick and wasn't satisfied with the...
Thank you, everyone, for your dealer recommendations and warnings. I am caught up with submissions via the Google Form (https://forms.gle/vnqeqVFivMv1DFbf8) and have an updated sheet below.
Some statistics:
291 dealers reported; 260 recommendations and 31 warnings
California leads the number...
I can understand that...
Feel free to send the following information to me using DM and I will transfer it to the sheet
Dealer Name [required]
Salesperson Name [optional]
City, state, and country where it is located (since I am tracking Canadian dealerships as well) [required]

Sorry... I am behind in updating the spreadsheet (which has to be manually transferred from the form submission) since I started a new job in October. I will get to it today.
Although the wait time was long for the first 2022 Maverick XL Hybrid (11 months), the wait in 2022 for my wife's PHEV Escape and my 2023 Maverick XLT EB AWD were acceptable to me. I ordered what I wanted and I was okay with paying MSRP for both.
With the exception of my son's 2023 Maverick XLT...
If true, it will apply to new orders placed after today. Retail orders placed before today will have price protection.
By the way, what is your source of this information?
I cannot go into a lot of details since the shop doing the work on my Maverick plans to assemble a package to sell to Maverick owners. They offer packages for several other marques (especially Tesla). They also have a Bronco package.
My XLT Maverick has the following.
Upgraded speakers in all...
The price has been reduced to $33K as of 2023/12/07.
Note that it also includes an upgraded stereo system installed by a high-end audio installation shop in Orange CA.
By the way, I learned that A.R.E. designed their shells to be snug against the back of the cab. Yet, most shell installers will set it back a little because they are used to the bed moving with respect to the cab on most trucks.
The A.R.E. MX-series on my Maverick was set back like the V-series...
We should also see a decline in the USOB Retail since the 2024 Model Year started in October.
I am estimating it to be around 26K units.
Wouldn't seeing a little more breakdown against the Maverick production be interesting? In other words, a breakdown of
EB versus Hybrid and
XL, Non-luxury...
