I havenāt taken mine in yet because my dealer has no loaners available right now. Iām on a waiting list and will bring it in when a loaner is available. I think there are about 20 people on the list š±.
I believe it was a factory defect...I had nothing happen that would have caused it. I don't know what was leaking (oil, grease?) and the mechanic determined that the control arm should be replaced along with the axle although I don't know why.
No regretsā¦we both really like it. I donāt really know when it was built. I searched the Ford website and found one coming in to a local dealer. I put down a deposit and had it two weeks later. It all happened very fast.
The bike is a 2014 Honda Valkyrie.

This is the one. I just cut it to fit but it doesn't quite make it all the way to the end of the bed.

I mentioned it above...I did receive the recall notice but I haven't taken it in yet. I don't think I have an issue but my dealer said they are required to inspect it to be sure.
I picked up my Maverick on October 14, 2021 and have since put on a little over 12,000 miles, so I thought it was time to give my impressions. I'll try to be brief and hopefully this won't be too tedious to read.
The truck as delivered: Alto blue, XLT Ecoboost, 360, AWD, FX4, 4K tow, lux...
Yes, they were. It took about 45 days for the parts to come in, but all is good now. Right after the repair was done I drove it from NY to FL and back towing a motorcycle with no issues.
