HeyBales, Thanks for the info, looks like I might be waiting until February 2026
Also, thanks Shrek, hopefully someone can help.........................................
I am not a paying customer, just a little surprised that FORScan is not available for the 2026 yet. Looking at a 2025 side by side you cannot tell. Although, I have noticed a different chime, and now your prompted to check the back seat to make sure you are not leaving kids in the car/truck.
Hooked everything up tonight on my new 2026 Maverick and a box appeared and stated unable to identify vehicle. Even tried using the lastest beta :
FORScanSetup2.3.69.test20251125
Does anyone know how to make an inquiry or have any information ?
Thank You !
Your dreaming, Farley will wait it out until the next administration. The plant mentioned in the video is going to shift to a 2027 midsize EV truck.............................................
There are so many errors in that video, an example is the video mentions 2025 standard 1500lb tow capacity, its 2000lb. Roll down windows on an XL and steel wheels on a XLT would be a joke !
Interesting Ford EV story :
https://www.autoevolution.com/news/man-buys-ford-f-150-lightning-for-92369-drives-10k-miles-can-t-even-get-51k-for-it-241443.html#:~:text=This 2022 Ford F-150,all better off this way.
Its funny, the first time I read about this EV it said starting at $25k then about a week later another article said starting at $30k. By the time its introduced it will probably start at $35K. Will have to wait and see what the range and price is for 2027.
Make sure you hang on to the receipt/work order so that you can collect when the AGM fix for 2022 - 2024 hybrid models is announced...............................................
I work with several Ford Dealers and here is the issue. Unless you use oem factory parts and something happens within the tailgate and/or wiring, there will be NO warranty coverage.
If your willing to try other ways that is your choice.
Only XL's do not come with a power lock unlock tailgate.
