I think it’s mostly real world experience with collision damage.. they get totaled easily due to parts cost and unibody repairs…

Yep it’s electric driven vs EB which is belt driven. Since it’s hybrid it’s not trying to cool both engine and AC constantly which is a plus!!

Typically fuel injected engines have a low pressure pump in the tank and another high pressure pump in-line to supply the injectors with the required psi around 275 psi. I can’t see them pressure the tank that high. Tank pressure is probably to eliminate the low pressure in tank pump. Which...

So I get what you’re saying but in the beginning many hybrids were shipped with a hole on top of the fuel tank. No performance complaints. So it can’t just be pressure and what happens with a leaky gas cap? Sorry I can’t buy this explanation.

If in the LA area we have Autonation Ford Tustin. They do the ADM gig but not for special orders. No hassle and gives up front prices on orders. There’s many on this site that will attest to that. Look up keyword Tustin.

October last year, they ship pretty quick in SoCal because of the many dealerships in the area. I’d be surprised you don’t get it by months end but things can happen..

It took a week to get to Mira Loma yard and then a week to the dealer.
