Agreed, I volunteered when people were bitching about being drafted. Nobody owes me anything but hell yes I will ask for a discount on just about everything. It’s saved me a lot of money in some unusual places. As a veteran I don’t expect anything, advertising can be deceiving and misleading...

Sometimes dealers forget to remove their alarms in place before delivery or maybe someone is just checking out their laser sights because of people doing weird stuff in their window. 🤷

The one thing the recall did was when I filled it up the miles to empty was only 342 miles to empty like when I first bought it. I filled at 50 MTE but it’s still at about 340 MTE at 3/4 tank. I suppose that will change over the next few tanks where it reads higher.

Phil is a great source of information!! Price sensitive people don’t want to pay for the right crimp tool for casual use. So like hillbilly said, liquid tape. It’s used on many marine applications. The price is right!!
