The cargo management for $335 is the bed dividers I think and requires the locking bed rails added for $225. The build configuration on the web site doesnāt show the bed rails as a stand alone option anymore. So confused about it now.
My order only shows the bed rails which is what I wanted.
I canāt speak for Tim but my take is your price protection and interest rate lock date changes and the variables involved with order processing changes your position in line at some point. Itās so complicated with order date, allocations, priority, constraints etc. are figured in.
I found a couple of videos on Youtube and the upper holes (where the locking bed rail system is mounted) are M8x1.25 and the ones for the tie down hooks are M6 but not sure of the pitch. Maybe try the Ford parts dept. for info.
My understanding is all are metric. When I had my Ranger spray in done I needed to do the same to re-install the tie down hooks. It will make it much easier to do.
The Chat feature on the Ford website (contact us) works just fine for status updates and I always get an answer when I've used it. Not saying the info is 100% accurate but no worse that the Marketing Customer Service calls.
This has been talked about many times here and the short answer is if your rollover order has constrained items and a new MY23 order doesnāt and fits into the schedule youāre going to be passed up. Ford isnāt going to hold up all production waiting for the parts for your order to show up.
Another trick I use in my Ranger and Audi is slightly turn the steering wheel and it will start.
Most times I turn it off but itās nice to have if you are going to be sitting awhile waiting for a train etc. When I had the Audi in for scheduled maintenance I asked the advisor about defaulting the...
I have a Rough Country mat in my ā19 Ranger and very happy with it. I had purchased it for my last 5g Ranger SuperCab and planned to sell it and get one for my current SuperCrew but was able to cut it shorter at the cab end and fits perfectly.
As far as I know itās just another name for the same thing since itās priced at $225. Not sure about the number of fixed tie downs being any different than the 10.
My dealer or Ford ālostā my MY23 new order and later offered me an abandoned order modified to my original spec at MSRP. No price protection obviously but weāll see how that works out. They do not add market adjustment to special orders but noticed they have 4 Mav XL on the lot at $2500 ADM.
Most of us should also get a cut for having to do so much research and hounding our dealers to do their jobs correctly! Thanks to Tim @fordvideoguy for helping us understand what's going on and what to ask/do.
Same issue for the 2.3 Ecoboost in the Ranger.
I found one on ebay from an Explorer that has a different part number. Fits my 2019 Ranger perfectly. They are out there if youāre persistent.
