Roof rats are what I've had to deal with for years. Got into my attic, Ram's engine compartment. So have several bait stations outside & put out victor traps when see them out in evening in flower beds. Peppermint oil & Fabreeze Linen clip-ons in engine compartment of the cars/truck.

It's in engine compartment. Bit of a puzzle to open and have to make sure it reconnects correctly to bottom half. Look in Owners Manual on how to unlatch fuse box from bottom junction box and open its lid. I'd have to agree it's a "dufus" design.

I should have said Factory Service Manual. From another Maverick hybrid I see the High Temperature MCase+ 40A, 60A, 40A fuses for the PTCs on the top row. I haven't pulled apart my hybrid's BJB to look at it. I did on my previous 23 2.0L Ecoboost and those fuses not installed since no PTCs:
