I think cactus grey will look best on the lariat. Grey/navy/brown is really elegant color palette in my opinion. For the XLT I would personally opt for the area 51 Since I think itās a more adventurous color to match the more adventurous interior scheme and it would play against those vivid...
Is anyone still on CB? I know thereās a small community of HAM weirdos here in metro detroit that all communicate via a repeater on top of the Renaissance Center. Donāt know anyone that runs a CB.
Doc fee is literally bullshit. They are charging you to file the paperwork for your purchase. I get that dealerships are getting squeezed and need to find other ways to make a profit so I wonāt begrudge them making something but anything over $100 for a doc fee and I would walk.
They arenāt as interested in making money on the truck itself as they are in increasing sales volume for which Ford awards bonuses. They are going to make their money on the back end.

Those jeeps needed heavy bracing added to prevent the body from being bent. Like I said, it depends on what you consider overlanding. Iām fairly confident what you consider overlanding is not what I consider overlanding. In my mind, if there is a trail then you arenāt overlanding, you are...

There is a lot more to it than angles. Unibody construction doesnāt have the flex a body on frame vehicle has. If you are āoverlandingā flat praire terrain or a desert you might make it without tweaking the unibody construction but doing any serious off-roading is going to be a risk. I donāt...
Iām waiting for some footage of the lariat in the wild to hopeful answer some the questions we have regarding ambient lighting and what exactly that entails on The maverick.
