When you see a project developed at this kind of speed it’s usually an indicator that the manufacturer set up a skunkworks-esque design program. Disconnect the team from the typical hierarchy of top heavy management which slows down the entire process and adds cost. It’s interesting on a...
the ecoboost mpg will tank in the city, they all do. My experience is about a 30% drop in fuel economy. The hybrid on the other hand will actually increase its economy in the city.
Nice. I was hoping truxedo would drop their soft cover before my maverick was delivered. Rolling soft tonneau is the best tonneau especially with such a small bed. Can’t afford to lose half a foot or more to a rolling hard top or a folding tonneau.

Hybrid MPG is effected in the winter because the engine is what generates heat for the cabin and the vehicle will keep the engine running to maintain the cabin temperature. Obviously the more the gas engine is running, the worse the fuel economy.
Calm down guys, my f150 can approach 30mpg if I ride the sweet spot on the highway. Unfortunately as soon as I hit the surface streets it plummets and I always end up averaging 20mpg. The hybrid maverick will still make the ecoboost look like a gas guzzler.
I’ve had vehicles with moon roofs and vehicles without moon roofs. If it’s part of some larger package or comes standard on the vehicle then I’ll take it but I won’t fork out cash for it as a stand alone option. I never found much use for them personally.
I’m not sure why you guys get so worked up over knowing exactly where your truck is in the pipeline. It will show up at your dealer when it shows up and they will definitely let you know when it does because they like selling cars. It’s kinda the business they’re in ya know?
I’ve had the collision warning go off a few times when changing lanes where it thinks I’m going to collide with the car in front of me but it’s never actually applied the brakes when it shouldn’t have.
I’m embarrassed to admit it but it’s saved my bacon on a couple of occasions. Definitely worth having. It hit the brakes for me faster than I could get my foot on the pedal and bought me that extra fraction of a second that made the difference between rear ending someone and stopping in time.
I would assume it’s because the large amount of reservations for hybrids will require 100% of their production capacity for that configuration and sending any to the dealerships for the lot would mean shorting customers on their reservations which would not be received very well.
The two extra speakers are a center dash speaker and a lil subwoofer in the back. What’s really going to make the difference hopefully is the amp the B&O system comes with.
As do I buy I know how good aftermarket speakers are and I know that no factory sound system would ever compare. I’m getting the lariat lux as well and am hoping the B&O system is what I would term “acceptable”.
When I started house shopping the first thing I told my realtor was to ignore any property under an HOA. Having grown up in a neighborhood with one and seeing my parents constantly fined every month for the slightest infractions I knew it would be a quick decline into insanity and murderous...
