Ford really f***** a lot of us. I ordered my maverick 11/2/21. I figured i'd get it by the end of the summer. I got my VIN in early July, and here we are today with a 12/19 build date (MAYBE). If that truck gets built that week, I probably wont see it at my dealer until Sometime late Jan/early...
So appears I am now pushed to a 2023. My latest production date from the email on Tuesday night was 11/21. Today ford chat is telling me 12/19 smh
So I will lose the spray in bed liner, the bed rails, the remote start as well as my financing protection. And with a comparable offer they gave the...

Couldnt agree more. The OP"s original statement was cringeworthy.
USA is a free market!
God Bless America!
Supply and Demand!
No one wants to work!
...wait what???
As stated, the labor market is just like any other market. You want people to work, real simple answer...pay more. At a certain...
And this am I receive an EMAIL from Ford indicating a build date of 10/24. Since I am getting an email I am hoping this is the last date and it really gets built.
What assurances? They are literally going to do "less work" for the same money. Not sure why you are taking a tangent with all things Tesla. I am simply talking about ORDERING.
I'm not talking about getting rid of dealers. I'm simply stating...let the customers order what they want from home! Without the need of any dealer intervention. Let the customer choose their local dealer to receive delivery. This is far too complicated for no reason.
This whole ordering fiasco with the Mav just really drives home how skipping the dealer for orders is the way to go. Why does the end user have to go to a store to watch (a generally less knowledgeable rep) to put an order in on a computer when said customer has a computer at home? And then ALSO...
Theres no way i beleive this. If this was true (limited allocations available) why on earth would Ford waste everyones time (especially dealer staff) with taking all these orders. It doesnt take a logistical genius to say "hey if we can only make 50K mavs this MY, with 3K stores thats roughly 16...
if you agree in free markets, once the supply meets demand curve, and people can no longer flip these for any profit after tax/tags etc then they will abandon the order and it will be dealer stock. To further that, which will turn into multiple mavericks on the lot, which should equate to less...
LFG. Just got my Tremor order in. Crossing fingers I will see it Calendar year 2023 but not feeling optimistic. We shall see.
And for the record, just as I suspected. My dealer gave me a Priority 10. I had suspected that if every dealer randomly gave out Priority 10's to every order, then...
LOL I just went to my dealer for the 3rd time, they claim they still cant order a tremor! Im going to try once more tomorrow am before I go visit a neighboring local dealer. I want to give them th ebenifit of the doubt, but its super frustrating.
