Originally I was planning on using that for the door panels and using the triple layer for the outer door skins but then just decided to do it all with the same stuff. Either way itās still better than nothing at all. Iām just happy to notice the cabin being a little bit quieter, especially...
I used a bunch of painters tape. My only gripe is it doesn't stick well on the areas where you push up on the window at. I was still a little nervous, but I worked quickly lol
Decided to finally tackle the project of swapping out the front speakers and adding sound deadening to the front doors. I took mine time but overall its not a very difficult project, as some may think. This YOUTUBE video was extremely helpful for figuring out how to remove the inner door skin...
FORM Lighting officially dropped the headlights and taillights on their website. The headlights are a pre-order but the taillights are available. Confirmed fit for 22-24. I have the taillights already and they are a nice upgrade in looks and output over stock.
Everything you need can be found HERE. I added the 921 size XPR bulb for the 3rd brake light as well while I was in there. Diode Dynamics is the best š¤š¼
I've seen this happen to a few people, but have yet to see a cause. It's probably worth swapping to led bulbs as they do run cooler, they also look better IMO
I'm sure they'll still honor the orders already placed, the headlights are a pre-order anyway. They sell enough DD products I'm sure they'll just pass it off as a "misunderstanding"
The stuff Iām looking at is 125 mil thickness, but I figured anything was better than nothing. This stuff seems to be a decent balance of doing two layers but cheaper than other options. I plan to line the inside door panel and also the door skin behind the window.
I appreciate the info! Iāve been trying to figure out what I want to go with. Seems like most people say either just go with Amazon or buck up and buy Resonix. I might do the NVX triple layer since I can get 40sqft for $140.
