I swapped mine for switchbacks too but it doesn't really do anything for the headlights. Adding fog lights however does really help, especially for adding some width to the beam output.
It's personal choice really. They really change how the truck looks. As far as output the pattern is a little different than the oem headlights but are slightly brighter.
I get the frustration, but to be fair Form made it very clear it was a preorder with only an estimated ship date. I put my order in fully expecting it to be 2-3 months. I just got lucky and got mine early

It's really not that complicated at all, plus Form has full written instructions with pictures and also a full video on everything you would need to do for the install.
Got my Form Lighting headlights delivered last week and just got them installed. A huge upgrade in the overall looks of the truck for sure. I also made a video of my install.
