"Constraint" is not the same as "unavailable"... It basically means that Ford anticipated (and ordered from their suppliers) parts to support a certain volume of components to build what they believed would be the demand (or possibly the maximum production capacity of their plant). If they...
Not only do you need to order the Lariat + Luxury package, but you also have to add both "CP360" and "CP360 Assist" packages.
Or take matters into your own hands and try to order all the parts yourself, add them, and hack the vehicle settings accordingly. There's a separate (very detailed...
Got my confirmation yesterday for my '23 Hybrid Lariat in Cyber Orange with Black Appearance, Lux, CP360, and CP360 Assist packages. The CO with BAP should look absolutely awesome!
My wife doesn't like CC and rarely uses it because of constantly having to adjust the speed because of traffic.
Then she drove my sister's car that has Adaptive CC, and absolutely LOVED it. I had to upgrade to the Lariat + Lux + CP360 + CP360 Assist just to get that ONE feature... (OK - I...
I'm lucky that the color (Carbonized Gray) is one of my favored colors, and as you so eloquently stated, "It's worth more used than new." (Though by the time I factor in traveling to get it, it's more like a "break even" proposition in my case.) Still, I'll be a Maverick owner in about a week...
Aside from the safety discussion earlier (and I agree on all those points), a HUGE factor on the adjustable / tilting headrest is for people who have had neck or back surgery. My wife had a couple of vertebrae/discs in her neck surgically repaired, and because of that has to sit very upright to...
In your shoes, I would not sweat it too much. From what I've seen elsewhere on this forum, adding CC to your XL is pretty straightforward and inexpensive. Beats waiting for weeks / months / years for a '23 order...
Just wanted to say "Thanks" again for this post... Using that "hack" (which I should have thought of myself, but didn't!), I was able to luck my way into a Hybrid Lariat actually available (apparently a rejected order) through a dealer several states away (but near my brother's house). I...
On the Lariat with Black Appearance Pkg, it says that all those "trim" pieces are black instead of the coppery color. I suspect that on the XLT model, it likewise replaces all the orange stuff with black.
Since I'm ordering a Cyber Orange Lariat, the black interior pieces will go a LOT...
I had the same momentary panic, but the letter says that not all of the selected packages and options are shown due to space constraints. My order definitely has CP360 and the "CP360 Assist", and the letter showed only CP360.
I just noticed on the printout of the "preview order" from the dealer, it's showing $0 for the Cyber Orange paint option on my Lariat Hybrid. I suspect that's an error in the system, but maybe Ford is including CO as a "no charge" color now. Pretty cool, if true. (Not holding my breath...
Just got my "official" order letter from Ford. At least in the case of the Lariat with Black Appearance Package, the seats are called out as "Black Onyx ActiveX Trimmed Bucket Front-Seats". Odd that it doesn't mention the rear seats... I sure hope they aren't mis-matched...
PS - I would...
I don't think it can be "disabled" permanently, but the manual says this:
Press the window control switch fully and release it. Press again or lift it to stop the window.
So it would appear to work like my current car, where you can basically "double-tap" the switch to just crack the window...
This "pull tab" is not referenced in the user manual that I downloaded. It may be a "service only" item, but it's definitely not shown in the owner's manual.
I rode a motorcycle as my sole means of transportation for several years. I installed an air horn on that bike, and it may have saved my life a time or two. One thing for sure, when someone started to pull into my lane right on top of me (motorcycles being invisible to most drivers, it seems)...
True that! Fortunately, I'm somewhat (well, mostly...) past my "boy racer" phase and drive the speed limit for the most part...
I was initially drawn to the Cyber Orange, but then my daughter ordered her "dream car" (a Dodge Challenger) in the "Go Mango" color (which is a much deeper orange...
I don't care whether it's more "yellow" or more "orange" – I just love the color. That's what I'm ordering for mine. The fact that it looks slightly different in different lighting conditions is a bonus for me. It should be a lot easier to find in a crowded parking lot than my current dark...
