Good plan. As soon as they realize that "you really left", then they will start the mailings, emails, texts, etc. to BEG you to come back. At some point they should offer you an incredible deal, then sign back up!
OUCH !!!! Bet Sirius/XM loved her for paying that much. 😧 We currently have two vehicles subscribed and are only paying $3/month for a locked in 36 month contract. That's $6/month or $72/year for TWO vehicles. In two years when the contract expires we'll likely cancel.
To the OP. Kudos to you for attempting to change this tire yourself. We need more women like you who aren't afraid to get dirty and perform a bit of physical work. Plus the gratification of fixing things yourself. Career wise .... any of you out there in law enforcement or related fields, you...
According to the current brochure (Premium extended service plan) there still are options BUT they highlight "disappearing" next to the $0, $50, and $200 deductible choices. Maybe these will go by the wayside with the price hike next month? We'll see! I took a snapshot of what I plan on...
Hope these issues are, or have been resolved on the 2026 models. I'll be getting one this summer and would not want to deal with this battery issue. Bad enough that the 2023 model I temporarily use (company vehicle) has this similar issue BUT not totally bad yet. It's just in sleep mode long...
And it's not just limited to automobile wiring. Here's an air conditioner that quit due to mice having a feast on the 480volt 3-phase power. when I repaired this, I didn't find any dead mice .... was a bit surprised.
Maybe just make it a daily habit to do a quick "swipe with a rag" over the lens before driving off! This way it should be clean for each initial drive.
Very unique & personal! Nice work  In the NW Ohio area, several of the Fleet customers Wrap their "WHITE" Mavericks and they definitely get noticed. They basically become traveling billboards and are less likely to get hit.
Take a small sample of the oil and send it off to an Oil Analysis lab. It will tell you exactly what all is in the oil INCLUDING moisture content. I use Blackstone Laboratories Inc in the Fort Wayne area. Money well spent if you want your engine to last.
And to think, if you were over/up here in the Midwest with all the salt/brine on the roads, you're undercarriage would likely look even worse! Not real bad for the fun you've been having. Report back in a year and compare damages then.
Welcome from the SW end of Lake Erie! Curious how many miles were put on your old truck to where it rotted out so quick? Lots of salt/brine driving I take it. Look into the fluidic film treatment for your new Maverick so it will preserve the metal and not rot out so quick.
As someone who loves to modify their vehicle, I am interested to see the final rollout AND what it would cost the average consumer. One thing I will work on when I get my Maverick will be collapsible motorized door mirrors with puddle lights. My Silverado has those and I am spoiled with them. I...
This is exactly what got me hooked on the Maverick. My son's company has four or five as company vehicles and I've been doing some odd jobs for them (as a retiree) where the company car/truck was required. This is why I joined this forum and will very likely get me one later this year once my...
