Nice find and hope your son appreciates it. What did this initially cost you? Somewhere between $5k & $10K? In some states, Rebuild/savage tiles are tough to sell. You dam near have to give them away. Just curious
Just replied to a similar thread so this may be redundant. Seeing how this service is not physically attached to the car, can the 7-year $745 option, be deleted from the MSRP prior to purchasing the car? I would think so, but one dealer already told me that they can't delete a factory option...
Unlike the original OP who got stuck with it, can a new customer have the "optional 7year $745" deleted from the sale of the car before making the purchase? The way I see it is this: Every Maverick comes with the "hardware" for this service built into the car. Then we all get the first year...
Great video and thanks for posting. I'll never do "off-roading" but it's reassuring to know that the likelihood of me becoming truly "stuck", should be minimal with the Maverick!
So VERY true! This is the exact reason I came onboard a half year ago, to pick your brains and learn as much about the Maverick BEFORE I pull the trigger and purchase one. I'm now within a few weeks of that day coming. I thank ALL of you on this forum!
My son & I will both be getting Mavericks. The "fleet" path we initially were going to go through may not work. Besides the fleet discount was only 3.8% off MSRP. Employee pricing should be closer to 5% off MSRP. Good timing for us (y)
Just tried this method earlier today for curiosity. Mavericks currently are NOT part of their program in my area. Read the message highlighted in the middle "light yellow banner" on this attached pic.
Excellent advice! Haven't financed a car in over 20 years. Cash is King, just don't let the dealership know that till it's time to sign all the paperwork!
If I end up getting my 2026 Lariat with the BAP package, I'll gladly take these off your hand. I want the machined face rims. Then I'd be selling my BAP rims to where it should be a wash. I should know more for sure which way I'd be going as far as trims on the Lariat go in the next week or...
Nice truck! If for some reason you ever want to get rid of your "machine faced" 19" rims, keep me in mind. I'm considering getting the BAP with my "soon" new Lariat and hate the all black tire/rim combo. Love the interior though. Therefore my BAP 19's will be available to anyone out there. I'm...
Nice work! :) I take it you used the painted steel (green) Unistrut vs the galvanized plated type. I plan on doing something similar and will consider the possibility of something under the front bumper to support an additional front support/rail. This way I could haul a 20-24' extension...
Nice negotiation tactics you have there. Not just anybody can pull off what you did ... congrats. Fortunately for me I provide quite a bit of work/services for a large company who buys a lot of Ford fleet vehicles. They will be getting mine through a fleet program, then sell it to me. No...
Nice ride and identical to what I plan on getting this summer, except I'll opt for the hybrid, moonroof, 4k tow, and read slider window. Enjoy the ride, I know I will when I get mine!
This could be a good thing for those of us looking to get their first Maverick. I've noticed quite a bit of inventory out there in the USA and surprisingly a lot of NEW 2025's are still on dealer lots. Future incentives? Rebates? Room to negotiate? Could be a good time to buy. I'll be going...
You Canadians absolutely MUST have some type of fluidic film application used on all your vehicles or they'll rust out within 10 years! Here on the Ohio/Michigan border we don't get it as bad BUT it's still bad. I have my 2014 Silverado treated by "RuctChek" which is comparable to Krown. Mainly...
Late 60's & a retired union refrigeration mechanic. Centrifugals, absorbers, chillers, pretty much anything that uses refrigerants to perform a process. Worked for the two largest control contractors for 25 of my working years. Honeywell & Johnson Controls. Had a lot of fun and made some good $$$.
Nice replacement! ;) Also good job on the negotiating. 7.8% off of MSRP is great compared to what others here have paid in the past. When I get my 2026 Maverick in a couple months, I'll be going through a fleet program so I hope to get a good deal also. The company will then sell the Maverick...
Yep, I'm with you on that one. A bit leaner/sleeker than the 22-24 models. Looking forward to when I get my 2026 Lariat Maverick in a couple months
