Wait what?! So you can’t do actual “truck stuff” in a 2wd? What do you consider truck stuff? I think most people think of it as loading up your bed and transporting lumber/materials/bikes/gear etc. If you think “truck stuff” is going 4-wheeling well there’s lots of SUV’s, CUV’s, vans, and even...
Naming a vehicle should only be reserved for one of a kind vehicles, giving it a gender is a bit stupid. Mavericks will be the next prius. I’ve had all sorts of pretty rad vehicles, the only one I felt was worthy of naming was the box van I converted into an off-road camper: THE BAJA BOX
Yeah to each their own, I’d prefer the completely opening side panels to sliding windows, my dog hangs out in the back seat and the “cabana mode” is sweet. The new ARE MX fully loaded is right at $4k, and probably about 100 lbs heavier than the GFC, which also don’t seem to lose their value at...
The topper is officially available for the mav, best shell available IMO and competitively priced, and weighs under 135lbs!!!. You should give the YouTube video a watch, pretty funny.
Yes it does, but after 1800 miles I’ve never seen it extend beyond that, so after seeing somebody else’s dash image showing it twice the size I’m curious if there’s something wrong with my batteries
Hey guys, I came across somebody else’s dash image in EV coach showing their “blue bar” quite a bit larger than I’ve ever seen mine, I drive pretty conservatively to maximize MPG and I have to drive VERY conservatively to try and keep it in “electric”, mainly in ECO. Can I get some input on the...
Interesting, I’ve never seen the blue battery bar in Mav ever get this big in 1500 miles, is this in a certain driving mode? I wonder if something’s up with mine
Looks awesome! After seeing an image of the ARE MX I think I’ll go with the Ranch instead, question for you… does the weight of the shell level the truck out? I’m debating on getting a 1” leveling kit for the front of the truck, but if the shell will level it I won’t.
Came across this photo on IG, looks like the MX… also the gap between shell/cab looks best I’ve seen so far, IMO shell doesn’t look as good as I hoped It would, prefer the height/rise of the Ranch topper.
I was looking far and wide all over different states for a Hybrid XL, found quite a few dealers that were not doing markups and supposedly put my name down on their “waiting list”. Being in SoCal the markups are outrageous, my girlfriend decided to call Galpin Ford in Los Angeles, said they had...
Only $500 more than the hideous Snugtop sport, and will always hold its resale value, people pay MSRP for used GFC’s just to skip the lead time of having one built.
GFC released a new product today, a topper without the pop up tent portion, I confirmed it’s available for the maverick, it’s pricey at $4k, but worth every penny IMO. Check out the YouTube vid, it’s hilarious.
