I put wind deflectors on every vehicle I have owned for the same reason. It gets hot down here in Alabama!! Just bought my Maverick so I haven't had time to buy and install them yet. Also, intend to purchase a trailer hitch when they become more readily available.

I traded my 2018 Escape in on my 2022 Maverick Hybrid. I was happy with the Escape but oftentimes I needed the bed space to haul a few things. Love the 40+ mpg with the Maverick but was satisfied with the 32 hwy mpg with the Escape AWD. I also got $4k more for the Escape in trade than I paid...

I didn't order it but I had the dealership put my name on the list if one became available. When the original person that ordered it got tired of waiting he bought something else. The dealer called me and I bought it that day.

I have used about half a tank and 274 miles on my new Hybrid. 44.3 mpg. Pleasantly surprised.
