My 2018 Escape had this failure at 10k miles. I traded it in for the Maverick Hybrid

I would have preferred a red or white one but silver was the only Maverick on the lot so there was no choice. But I like it (and especially the 45 mpg)

I had not noticed that the full size spare was not the same size as those on the truck. What's up with that?? Will it make any difference if I have to use it on the front (front wheel drive)?

I had a 2018 Ford Escape with the 1.5L turbo. It had the engine coolant leak into the #2 cylinder and ended up having to replace the engine. I traded it in on my Maverick Hybrid. Actually gave me $4,000 more in trade than I paid for it 3 years earlier :)

I'm waiting for the aftermarket suppliers to jump it. Way too much for a trailer hitch compared to other aftermarket hitches. I bought my hybrid after the person that ordered it got tired of waiting and bought something else. Sure wish he had ordered the $100 hitch!!!

I purchased a Tyger Tonneau cover on Ebay ($249). It fits perfectly and doesn't have this problem. Is yours the one from Ford?

Yes, it is an issue on sunny days. Hard to see with the glare on it. I was wondering if I were the only one that was having this problem.

Did the stubby antenna affect the radio reception any?

I like this design. I wonder if this were to be installed how much room would there be left in the bottom of the center console? Maybe enough to make a small cooler in it (assuming you could drill a hole for drainage).
