I'm sorry for having higher expectations after 10 months of waiting. Maybe my concerns are unwarranted. Maybe after 30 years of driving I shouldn't have expected anything less from Ford. It's my first one and I'm feeling like it may be the last. Hopefully I'm wrong.
I have been in the auto industry for 20+ years. The last 9 in aftermarket parts. I've never seen anything "shaved" like this, especially on a new car. My 2013 Audi and my 2017 and 2020 Chryslers never looked like this.
But if that's what Ford does then that's what they do. I've never owned a...
So after almost 10 months I figured I'd have a truck that was 100%. I had to imagine that Ford did whatever it takes to get trucks out for 2022 and by "whatever it takes" I was hoping it wasn't literally. I wanted to change my wheels out. And low and behold, corners were cut, well not corners...
I have Volvo XC90 wheels in the shed to put on my Maverick when I get it next month, although I'm going to be painting them. They are also 17s and look similar to these. Did you use the wheels from Ford or the Volvo. Mine are the Volvo size tire, hopefully they don't cause too much issue. Did...
I would absolutely consider one. I currently have a standard cab S10. It's my 3rd one. Its definitely not a daily driver for me and neither would the Maverick if was a standard cab.
I'm interested. However I don't have my truck yet. It's in production now. I'm in Northeastern Ohio and depending on where in West Virginia you are we may be able to meet at some point soon. If you still have them when I am ready which is hopefully very soon.
Thanks for the info on the offset. I'm ok with the quarter inch if they don't rub. I guess I'll have to decide if the price is worth the gamble since I don't have a truck yet 🤔
I'm looking at some wheels for a truck I don't even have yet. It's supposed to be built next week...knock on wood.
The bolt pattern and hub size are correct. They are a staggered set. 19x9 front and 19x10 rears. Unfortunately I am having difficulty figuring out offset. They are off of a 2011...
Looks like there will be a couple happy people soon. Saw this when I was leaving Bluffton OH this morning. Wish one was mine but still no word other than my priority moved from 19 to 10. Congratulations to these 4 truck owners. Your trucks are on the way.
I'd walk away. Leave a Google review and never set foot near that dealer again. It's just a truck. I know we are all here because we want one and we ordered one, but if your situation was mine...I'd walk.
