I’m not interested anyway but I texted the salesman and asked him if that was out the door and he said to add another $899 dealer fee. Turns out it’s not such a great deal after all.
Looks nice, but I’m probably going to pass. This is someone’s backed out order. Looks like a $2k pad with the dealer added options based on what that stuff costs. Not bad considering what other dealers are getting.
When I told my wife I’m going to order a 2023 Maverick and trade my 2019 Forester she said I should look at the Santa Cruz. I took one look at a picture and said “not for me.”
Good point. Let’s say they have 100 orders prior to 8/16. Do they submit them all as soon as they can starting 8/16 or do they have to stagger them? This is a smaller dealer with a good reputation for customer service and fair pricing.
They are putting orders in a pile in they order in which they are received to place when orders open. Is there any advantage to this or should I just wait until 8/16? I understand options and pricing may change so I can always change my order. I’m worried if I give them an order now, it may got...
