    Do I make the switch to EB XL or wait? My wife’s car went kaput so we are down to one vehicle. I drive 25,000 miles per year for work. 70% highway 30% city. Anyone else have this dilemma? Part of me wants Hybrid or bust but this strategy might have me waiting until 2024.

    I don’t think that’s the case. We have a 2015 Mazda CX-5 that needs transmission work and nobody can fix it because they can’t source the parts. Now we have to let it sit in the driveway of sell for not much more than scrap. Now we are down a car, here’s hoping my Maverick Hybrid gets built...

    Try and negotiate that BS package down as low as you can. Try not to walk as they win by making an additional $5k from someone else. Pay it off immediately and leave a bad reviews across the internet. One and done with them.

    $550 but I just added the factory SIBL with free connectors since it’s no longer a constraint. I figured I might as well save $280.

    That’s false, my salesman just made a change today at 4:00. Unless Ford literally did this after 4:00.

    OP, same thing happened to me when I added the SIBL. My salesman was able to remove the $335 cargo management system. Is still got the $225 off. I wonder if the system automatically adds it?
