Curious down the road we'd be able to switch out the 1.1kw battery with the Escape's plugin battery of 14.4k and would we see the same additional electric mileage increase. Thinking in 6-8 years down the rode will do something like that if it makes sense.

@FordMotorCompany Please build my Lariat Lux without some chips. The stop and go is not necessary, nor are the heated seats, mirrors and steering till next winter. More chips to go around and more Maverick built! The three plus month window is good so we can order accessories and receive them...

Think 21k will be hybrids from now to end of MY22. Idk if they will ever go above 50% hybrids so assuming not.

Update, this month talked to another salesman John Delaney and changed the color and then added the moon roof. Wish everyone luck with their dealers and getting their Maverick.

idk, have not seen one in person, but like that it looks different in sunlight. Had a black Sebring Tsi model with nice wheels that looked very nice. Think it will look nice with the bright Lariat wheels no matter the lighting. The main draw back for the black look is hotter during the summer...

Love reading these reviews, but makes waiting even harder! Have the same build as well, but bought an aftermarket hard tri-fold, which was delivered January 2nd. Hoping to have the truck in the next 6 months, but as we all know, could be longer.

Johnny Car Care & Reviews said the the chip maker in Japan had their factories up and running Mar 23rd. Perhaps that explains a weak weak of scheduling.

You do realize there is a third position for the tail gate. Tuck the tailgate cable behind the original location will give it an up tilt. If only had the truck would take a picture. The sales person showed me at the dealership back in October how to do it. Unhook from the bed, loop the cable...

That was my favorite no added cost color, but the wife did not like it. Understand the other colors as summer heat and showing dirt, road salt extra. They have those colors so everyone can get what they preferred. Very nice seeing all those Mavericks at the dealership.
