I have used tire repair stings for years and they lasted the life of the tire. As long as it's not close to the side wall they will work fine. Keep the strings and tool in your glove box along with you tire inflator. And learn the proper way to use them. There won't be any blow outs unless you...
There were some battery problems a while ago with the Mavericks.. The battery should read 12 .7 - 12- 9. after sitting for a few hours. Although the vehicle should start I have seen faulty batterys do this.
If you think it is some oil of some sort then first try to identify the oil or fluid. Perhaps you can wipe it with a napkin or cloth. Then you can target the area where it might be coming from. Could be transmission axle seals on the input side of the diff housing or leaking CV boots. :giggle:
Same here the site is down. So we are almost sure that Ford didn't lose are vehicles. Now if they can get that train to move a little faster I can stop looking at this photo. LOL :giggle:
My Tremor was built on the 2/26 and was shipped on 2/28 with an estimated arrival 3/10- 3/16 however you can't hold Ford responsible for shipping times as it's totally in the shipper's control at this stage. Hope everything go's well for you. Good luck with your Maverick. :)
You obviously used the preload spacer between the spring and strut and used the top spacer as well? However can you get it aligned properly? I have a 2. 1/2 kit originally for a XLT and I changed to a Tremor so I will only use the top spacer in the kit on the front and shim the rear spring...
If there is room for an auxiliary cooling fan I will install one. Did not get my Tremor yet so I am not sure. And in addition I will use rear air bags just in case I have increased tongue weight from the item that I'm towing. Not worried too much because I do not plan on towing boats or other...
Well I got up this morning and there it was (built) On the Ford email. It is funny to me that the email was sent out at 3:17 AM. Automated system I guess. ETA 3/10-3/16 Not sure about that. LOL However Ford has been right on the spot with there times so far. :)
I know exactly how you feel. Now I got this idea to covert my 82 GT to fuel injection and sure enough I started another project however I still will let the Tremor run awhile and look at what other members report on this matter. Look down here I go again.
If he's going to go with a down pipe he might as well install a performance intercooler. That's what I would do. As I installed in my other vehicles.:) I will leave my Maverick alone when I receive it until I get acquainted with it's characteristics.
I hope that you are wrong on this because my Tremor is in production and on the tracking site the Tremor package info says the the off road cluster is included. :giggle: Below shows lariat cluster on my tracking page. However in the description it say it's included on the XLT...
I have seen a bunch of them (914 S) still out there so you can still pick one up. With that said here is one of my real rides. And still waiting for my Tremor.
