I have used the Scan Guage ll in many of my vehicles and went back and forth with the Scan Guage lll. It seems my '23 can use either, but I found this from Scan Guage, which may affect your "25, but may be worth a call to them:
OBD-II vs. WWH-OBD:
OBD-II is a widely used standard for reading...
Quick search:
WWH-OBD, which stands for World Wide Harmonized On-Board Diagnostics, is a global standard for vehicle diagnostics, developed by the UN under the Global Technical Regulations (GTR) mandate, aiming to harmonize and standardize communication between a vehicle's OBD system and...
I agee wholeheartedly on all your points. Where theft is concerned, I only plan on using it when towing a camper and the unit can easliy be unplugged and placed out of sight. However, I'm not going to sweat it too much because a thief would have a field day on all the things in my Mav that MTC...
Thanks for the excellent write-up and pics. Very clean install! I've been looking at the scanguage 3 for towing a trailer and that seems to be the ticket, especially with a PID for trans temps. I like that location, but have a concern that should the airbag go off the guage would become a...
Yep. The CSP states that even though you may get the airbag light, the seat belt will still buckle and the seat belt tensioner and airbag will still operate. You will also get a question mark instead of green checkmark when the seat belt is engaged.
However the caveat is...if you have exceeded time (15 years can't happen) or mileage (250,000, virtually impossible) at the time CSP was issued, you have until April 2026 for it to be fixed. Pretty much everyone of us affected have an extended warranty on the seat belt "if" the airbag light is...
This is just my two cents but there are too many red flags with your dealers comments. For the camera fix, the comment about the fix "not being ready for a couple of months" is flat out false. Not only did I have mine done correctly, many here, including @fordvideoguy , who is a Ford dealer and...
Here's the answer that Diode Dynamics supplied on their website from a 2025 Mav owner who asked if the 22-24 kit would fit the 25's:
This kit was designed around the previous generation Maverick, so we cannot confirm compatibility with the newest generation at this time - sorry!

Welcome to the club and for picking an awesome color! Plenty of resources here to make your mav even more enjoyable. Maybe since you have the truck, hubby can get his own mav too...just sayin'. Pics are required so keep'em coming. Enjoy
My signature when I send email says Sent From My Rotary Phone. I actually had someone ask "how do you type on a Rotary Phone. " I had no idea how to respond.
I was at my dealer at 1pm yesterday getting work done on my 2020 escape and saw on here the Mav recall fix was out. Showed the service manager about it and he said that it wasn't true because he was hearing chat about it being more than just a software patch. They have 5 24's on the lot and the...
I'm of the opinion of just a "wrong place, wrong time" for a cracked windshield. In my 50 years of driving, two cracked windshields. In my '99 Ford Econoline conversion van the first week I had it, and last week in my 2020 Escape, both rocks from oncoming traffic. Stuff happens.
